Reaching and teaching troubled children is a programme of seminars and weekly work discussion groups, lasting two terms, led by educational psychotherapists and other experienced professionals.
By enrolling on the course you will
- Develop therapeutic teaching skills for working with children with emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties
- Learn about educational psychotherapy concepts and approaches to working with and supporting troubled children
- Gain a better understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues in school settings
- Understand the impact of mental health issues at child, family and school levels
