Senior Mental Health Leadership Training
The Caspari Foundation’s DfE approved Senior Mental Health Leadership Training starts in the Spring Term 2023.
This online twilight training provides Senior Mental Health Leaders with the skills and knowledge to produce and implement an effective action plan for supporting mental health and wellbeing within their setting.
The training is suitable for all Senior Mental Health Leaders working in primary and secondary schools and specialist provision.

The Caspari Foundation’s seminars and work discussions are delivered by Educational Psychotherapists with extensive experience of providing mental health interventions within educational settings.

Our SMHL training goes beyond the DfE specified content to give targeted, one-to-one support following the taught part of the programme.

We offer applicants:

access to ongoing personalised supervision with an Educational Psychotherapist, and Caspari Foundation membership

access to our Continuing Professional Development trainings

access to our professional networks through which members meet to discuss and promote the understanding of and access to mental health provision within education

The Caspari Foundation’s in-depth knowledge and experience of the needs and requirements of schools has informed every level of the course content and structure:

All teaching online via Zoom
-
All teaching and follow up sessions delivered by four carefully selected tutors with extensive, relevant skills and expertise

Small groups (max. 8)

4 x twilight sessions delivered Jan/Feb 2023

4 x facilitated follow on group discussions delivered March 2023

1 x one to one follow on tutorial to discuss your specific context and questions during March 2023

This course is paid for through a government grant of £1,200 which schools can apply for.
Cost of course paid to Caspari Foundation is £900.
