Develop specialist expertise in attachment, trauma and therapeutic practice
A one-year part-time programme for educators, SENCOs, inclusion leaders and practitioners who want to better understand children's emotional worlds and develop a more therapeutic approach to learning and behaviour.
The Certificate is also Year 1 of Caspari's Advanced Diploma in Educational Psychotherapy, offering a pathway into specialist therapeutic practice and future career development.

The Certificate in Therapeutic Teaching is designed both as a valuable standalone professional qualification and as the first year of Caspari’s Advanced Diploma in Educational Psychotherapy.

The fee for the Certificate in Therapeutic Teaching is £4,500. This includes:

Entry requirements

Candidates must have experience of working in an educational setting (or be willing to gain this) and be educated to degree level (level 6)

Personal suitability

We accept a wide range of international qualifications. Please discuss your qualifications with the Course Director.

If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.5.
If your application is successful, you will be invited to attend an online interview w/c 20th July 2026. References and enhanced DBS checks will be checked upon an offer to study with the Caspari Foundation.
